Fit Friday: Weightloss Journey {Week 2}

Week 2 - Did nothing...we were vacationing in CA. I didn't get to vlog on my second week because we had a super busy week in the begining and then we went to CA to visit family.

Week 3 but really week 2:
This week was just like week 1 hard because I skipped a week, never do that again. I worked out Mon, Thurs, Fri and plan to on Sat.

Leave me any tips or encouraging comments.

Fit Friday: Weightloss Journey {Week 1}

Week 1 {July 28-August 3}

It's Fit Friday, I'm so glad to be back into the swing of things, now that the family is back in school. It's alot easier to stay to my schedule and workouts. I started back up at the end of July/begining of August, The fist week went well...oh how I hated to work out, that first week is always killer. The second week I was so busy and we went to CA for vacay. This week was alot better, I'm excersizing/working out at least 3-4 times a week. I am mostly running and HIIT workouts, quick and easy and straight to the point. I'm a busy mama so the quickest, easiest the better. There is no time for 1 hour workouts, besides you can do most of the HIIT workouts to get 1 hour results.
Here's a short vlog of my first day of getting back to working out.

Here's what I've been doing this week

Burpees: I do a set of 10 with a jump at the end

Jumping Jacks: Set of 15, so I do 3 jumping jacks then count so it would sound like this 1, 2, 3 -1, 1, 2, 3-2....etc.

This is my warm up before I do running, running is always the last thing I do, well after I stretch too, also good for the body.

Every other workout I throw a HIIT Workout in there. Here are a few that I've tried and love, they kick butt let me tell you.

Or this one

Then it's on to running.

Running: 1 minute intrevals, walking for 1 min and sprinting for a minute. I do this for about 10 minutes. If your just starting you want to probably start with 5 minutes to get your body acclamated to that, then work your way up. I also do a 1-2 minute warm-up with walking at the begining and end.

Time sure goes by fast when you are having fun!! For us summer vacation/ school break is almost over. The kids and hubby go back to school next week. :( I haven't really been on any sort of schedule, although, I have tried really hard. But I gave myself a break, and to be more open when they are home. I'm such the scheduler, planner, organizer that sometimes I just have to let it go. {oh no the song let it go, frozen, just enterered by brain, shucks now it's gonna be playing in my head all night---let it go, let it gooooo, can't hold back anymorrreee!!} LOL..sorry bout that.

I've missed being on here, as much, but once they are back in school I will be back on my schedule, as the Lord sees fit of course. I kind of just taken a break from blogging. But I will back stay tuned! I will be sharing some of our summer fun, and some other stuff. So until then, see you soon!!

Fit Friday

It has been a crazy, good, busy week. Unfortunately, me and baby are home today,because she got sick. But it's ok, God is seeing us through...we needed a lil' break anyway. I haven't been able to post anything for a few reasons: 1} we moved and well exercising and trying to eat healthy seemed impossible. I did what I could when I could. 2} and quite frankly I have not been motivated at all. I guess from all that moving tired me out, I was moving alot during the move so maybe that counts as excercise??

I need the accountability so I figured I needed to post something for Fit Friday, this will motivate me to get back to living healthy.

Today I am going to be talking about Keifer....have you ever had it? Well if not let me tell you.... it's so good it's like a yogurt smoothie that is super good for you.

Keifer drinks provide highly absorbable calcium, highly absorbable protein, excellent amounts of probiotic bacteria and are famous for helping to protect the body’s bones, teeth and gums and to invigorate the body’s overall health. Keifer drinks help keep the body’s temperature cool and well-adjusted in hot weather and strong in cold weather. Keifer drinks are excellent for children as well as adults. They can be a “meal in themselves” in the morning. Keifer drinks are especially recommended for the elderly because their nutrients are so easy to absorb and help prevent muscle wasting. You can also use the Keifer drink in place of regular milk to use over cereal (hot or cold). (Note: avoid most commercial milk – typically high in toxic pesticides and artificial hormones).

This milk is different from regular milk because it’s fermented with probiotic kefir grains. Kefir milk is also loaded with tryptophan – an amino acid that also helps raise serotonin levels in the brain – which can help reduce anxious feelings. Drinking one cup a day is enough to keep you feeling calm. {After praying this would be great to take if you have something important you are doing and you are feeling anxious.}
The picture above is the brand I have tried and love, I tried the strawberry one, but I am sure the others taste just as good. If you are close to a Sprouts you can grab one of these for $1.50, on sale, retail for $4 and up. It's a managers special right now, and it's organic, so head on over to try it out. You will not regret it.

TMI: I suffer from IBS and hypoglycemia so this is a great drink for me to have in the mornings to cleanse and coat your gut, intestines and it provides protein for my hypoglycemia too. I didn't get bloated on this at all and it was filling.

Here's more info on it.

What is the Truth?

What is the truth?
Truth is not a feeling. Truth is not an idea. The truth is found in the Bible.Sincerity and good works do not bridge the gap of sin between God and man. Only the blood of Jesus can cleanse a person (Heb. 9:22; John 14:6). Sincerity and good works are merely the reliance upon what is in the individual to merit favor with God. Sincerity is a form of pride when it is appealed to as a justification for being accepted by God: "But God, look at my heart. See how sincere I was? I deserve to be in heaven."No. If sincerity and good works were good enough to satisfy God, then He wouldn't have given us the Bible to correct our sincerely wrong ideas, and He wouldn't have sent His Son to do what our good works cannot.Truth is what God says is true.The truth is important not because it is simply true. It is important because truth is what defines who and what we believe in.Eternity is a long time to be wrong. Especially about Jesus.

What me and my Family Believe

What We Believe
WE BELIEVE the worship of God should be spiritual! Therefore we remain flexible so the Holy Spirit may direct our worship.
WE BELIEVE the worship of God should be inspirational! Therefore we give a great place to music in our worship.
WE BELIEVE the worship of God should be intelligent! Therefore, in our services, we emphasize Bible teaching so God may instruct us how He would be worshipped.
WE BELIEVE the worship of God should be fruitful! Therefore we look for His love in our lives as the greatest evidence that we are truly worshipping Him.

How To Know God

How to Know God

Realize that you are a sinner. No matter how good a life we try to live, we still fall miserably short of being a good person. That is because we are all sinners. We all fall short of God’s desire for us to be holy. The Bible says, “No one is good—not even one” (Romans 3:10 NLT). This is because we cannot become who we are supposed to be without Jesus Christ.Recognize that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you.The Bible tells us, “But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while were still sinners” (Romans 5:8 NLT). This is the Good News, that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die in our place when we least deserved it.Repent of your sin.The Bible tells us to “repent and be converted” (Acts 3:19 NKJV). The word repent means to change our direction in life. Instead of running from God, we can run toward Him.Receive Jesus Christ into your life.Becoming a Christian is not merely believing some creed or going to church on Sunday. It is having Christ Himself take residence in your life and heart. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door (of your life) and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in...” (Revelation 3:20 NKJV).

If you would like to have a relationship with Christ, simply pray this prayer and mean it in your heart.

Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe you died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I confess you as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me. Amen.If you just prayed that prayer and meant it, Jesus Christ has now taken residence in your heart! Your decision to follow Christ means God has forgiven you and that you will spend eternity in heaven.

The Bible tells us, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9 NKJV).

Praise the Lord, if you just asked Jesus in your heart I want you to know that the Angels in Heaven are rejoicing for you and so am I. Go to and click on churches to find the closest church to you and go. Go and tell them that you've just accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart. They will be able to lead you to the next step.

God Bless you Brethren.
In the Mighty Name of Jesus!!! Amen!!!
Your sister in Christ Jesus!!!
